1) Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence

Sky Social actively works to prevent and respond to gender-based violence (GBV) by empowering communities with knowledge, resources, and support systems. Through awareness campaigns, legal literacy sessions, gender sensitization trainings and capacity-building programs, we equip women, girls, stakeholders and marginalized groups with the tools to recognize, report, and resist violence. Our collaboration with frontline workers like ASHA, ANMs and Anganwadi workers ensures that survivors receive immediate support, counselling, and access to legal aid. By driving behavioural change and fostering safe spaces, Sky Social is committed to breaking the cycle of violence and ensuring that survivors regain their dignity and confidence.

2) Women Empowerment

At the heart of Sky Social’s work lies a strong commitment to women empowerment. We engage women as leaders, changemakers, and decision-makers in their communities by equipping them with knowledge about their legal rights, land rights, government schemes and holistic development . Through capacity-building workshops, leadership training, and advocacy programs, we empower grassroots women leaders, Elected Women Representatives (EWRs), community leaders and self-help groups (SHGs) to take charge of their lives and communities. By amplifying women’s voices and nurturing their leadership potential, Sky Social is fostering a more equitable and inclusive society.

3) Menstrual Health and Hygiene

Sky Social works with adolescents, women, stakeholders and communities to address Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHM) issues through education, awareness, and advocacy. By promoting behavioral change, we empower women to become leaders in challenging menstrual taboos and fostering open conversations. Our initiatives focus on improving access to sustainable menstrual products such as reusable pads and menstrual cups, while also ensuring better implementation of menstrual health schemes. Through various projects, we create safe spaces for dialogue, equip communities with knowledge, and drive long-term change to ensure menstruation never limits a girl’s potential.

4) Youth Empowerment

As a youth-led organization, Sky Social firmly believes that youth have the power to drive change and serve as catalysts of transformation. We actively engage young people in all our projects, empowering them with skills, leadership training, and livelihood opportunities to support their personal and professional growth. By providing platforms for capacity building, skill development, and mentorship, we equip youth to become agents of change in their communities. Our goal is to nurture confident, informed, and proactive young leaders who create a lasting impact through social action and advocacy.

5) Emotional and Mental Well-being

Sky Social recognizes that emotional and mental well-being is central to achieving gender equality and community resilience. Through specialized sessions on stress management, emotional health, and trauma recovery, we provide individuals particularly women, youth and adolescents with the tools to build resilience. Our programs integrate psychological well-being with legal awareness, ensuring survivors of violence, marginalized groups, and vulnerable communities feel heard, supported, and empowered. By fostering safe spaces and encouraging conversations around mental health, Sky Social is breaking stigma and promoting holistic well-being.

6) Rural Development

Sky Social is committed to driving impactful change in rural development by strengthening grassroots leadership and building stronger communities. By engaging with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), SHGs, and rural youth, we facilitate access to government schemes, improve healthcare services, and enhance educational opportunities. Our focus on community-driven solutions ensures that rural communities are equipped to address local challenges, advocate for their rights, and improve their socio-economic conditions. Through participatory planning and stakeholder collaboration, Sky Social ensures sustainable and inclusive rural development.

7) Livelihood Generation

Empowering women, youth and marginalized groups with sustainable livelihoods is a core focus at Sky Social. We provide skills trainings access to financial opportunities. Our programs emphasize building financial independence, promoting digital literacy, and fostering entrepreneurial mindsets among women and youth. By encouraging economic empowerment, Sky Social is creating pathways for individuals to break free from cycles of poverty and secure brighter futures for themselves and their families.

8) Climate Change

Sky Social integrates climate action into its community development programs, recognizing that environmental sustainability is crucial for long-term progress. We actively engage youth, grassroots leaders, and local communities in climate awareness initiatives, promoting eco-friendly practices, waste management strategies, and sustainable lifestyle choices. By linking climate resilience to issues like menstrual health, gender equity, and rural development, we ensure that vulnerable communities are equipped to adapt and thrive in changing environmental conditions. Sky Social’s commitment to climate advocacy emphasizes the role of communities as powerful agents of change in building a greener, healthier planet.

9) Digital Safety and Safe Online Practices

In today’s digital age, ensuring online safety is crucial, especially with the rise of technology-based gender-based violence (GBV). At Sky Social, we actively promote safe digital practices by conducting awareness sessions, workshops, and training programs focused on preventing cyberbullying, online harassment, digital exploitation and related issues. As this is an emerging field, we emphasize empowering individuals—especially women and youth—with the knowledge and tools to navigate online spaces securely. Our efforts aim to build a culture of responsible digital behaviour, ensuring overall safety across online and offline platforms.
