About the Campaign:
Sky Social’s ‘Period No More Limits’ is
an advocacy campaign launched under
the YOUTH KI AWAZ Action Network
Fellowship to challenge menstrual
stigma and improve access to menstrual products.
The campaign aims to reduce school
dropout rates among girls by promoting
menstrual education and ensuring better
implementation of the Menstrual Hygiene
Scheme under Rashtriya Kishore
Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK).
Key Objectives:
- Mobilizing 5,000 adolescent girls in rural Bhopal’s government schools.
- Training SHG women, adolescent girls, men, and boys on Menstrual Health Management (MHM) and Sexual and Reproductive Health.
- Enhancing the accessibility and availability of sanitary products through improved supply chain management.
- Ensuring effective convergence between the Health Department, Rural Development Department, and Education Department to improve menstrual product distribution.
Outreach and Impact:
Through online and offline campaigns, Sky Social has empowered youth, community members, and frontline workers to address period poverty, challenge menstrual myths, and promote positive social attitudes toward menstruation.
Key achievements include:

- Behavioral Change with Teachers and Communities: Focused efforts on sensitizing teachers and influencing community attitudes resulted in improved support systems for menstruating girls.
- Balanced Responsibilities: Policy implementation duties were distributed among multiple frontline workers to reduce the burden on ASHA workers.
- Inclusive Training Programs: Awareness sessions for women, men, and youth fostered attitudinal shifts and reduced menstrual stigma.
- Improved Accessibility: Strengthened convergence between key government departments ensured consistent sanitary product supply.
- Enhanced Infrastructure & Capacity Building: Improved public sector facilities and trained service providers to deliver respectful, client-centered care.
- Psychological Well-being: Integrated mental health awareness into menstrual education for better emotional support.
- Comprehensive Sexuality Education: Ensured age-appropriate education for youth in schools and communities to promote healthy attitudes toward sexual and reproductive health.
