Srishti Pragat
Founder and Chairperson
Ms. Pragat is the Founder and Chairperson of SKY SOCIAL. She is a young and enthusiastic
woman entrepreneur who started this organization two years back and since then she has built
a team of young enthusiastic feminists who are
working towards ensuring the rights of women and girls.
She holds an MSc degree in
Development Studies from SOAS University of London with specialization in Gender and
Migration Studies. Since then, she has worked
with various leading organizations in Delhi like UN Women and Centre for Social Research.
She has also worked with National Rural Livelihood Mission, a program of Ministry of Rural
Development which socially and economically
empowers women by organizing them in SHGs. She has also done an internship with Safe cities
initiative under MPUIIP, Uthan project.
Srishti Pragat wants to “create women leaders and young ambassadors who would
empower communities to build a happy, healthy and safe world for children and
women.”
She is also a YOUTH KI AWAZ Action Network Fellow.
Through the advocacy campaign ‘Period No More Limits’ she and her organization is aiming to change
people’s mindset around menstruation and make menstrual products accessible to everyone
especially adolescent girls so that they can complete their education. The main focus of this
campaign is to reduce the school drop-out rates of adolescent girls in rural areas.
She has
recently been selected as the country
Ambassador for India for UNITE 2030. Unite 2030 is a global community of leading young leaders/
changemakers from around the world who are taking action to tackle poverty, inequality, injustice,
and climate change by the year 2030.
As a Country Ambassador for India, she is leading programs, creating communities, expanding
youth action, working with policy makers & shareholders, building a global platform for young people
and making them forerunners of
change in order to achieve United Nations Sustainable Development goals by 2030.
Arunima Tiwari
Policy & Legal Analyst
Ms. Tiwari is a lawyer who holds a bachelors in law degree with a specialization in corporate law. She has almost 7 years of experience in policy and legal research. She has previously worked as a Global Policy Analyst with a research and consulting firm where she specialised in data privacy laws, technology laws and cybercrimes.
Ankit Mathankar
Project Coordinator
Ankit Mathankar has completed a bachelor's degree in arts from Govt Hamidia Arts and Commerce College and currently works as a project coordinator for Sky Social. The past two years have been spent working in the development sector. His experience includes collecting and analysing data for research and evaluation along with that he designs, plan and implement various programs. Professionally, he is outgoing, creative, and has excellent communication skills. As a friendly, open person who enjoys exploring new places, he is always up for a new adventure.
Isha Goel
Social Media and Communications Associate
Ms. Goel is from Meerut, a hotelier by profession, who is also currently pursuing my MBA from IBS Mumbai. She is a book addict and an impulse writer. That has inspired her to reach out to people through my words through social media and digital platforms. Thus, she works as a social media and Communications Associate with Sky social. She has always been inspired to write about social issues and spread awareness. She believes that “It is a wonderful opportunity to be the voice of change and contribute to the society in the humblest way.” She is a realist who believes in changing the world with one smile at a time.
Md Ashif
Production Head
He is a postgraduate from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and
Communication, Bhopal with a Broadcast Journalism major. He has been working in the
development sector for the past 5years and currently works
as a Production Head at Sky Social taking care of the production process and
post-production activities.
Sakshi Pragat
Financial Advisor
She is the financial Advisor of our team. She has experience of working as an intern with chartered accountancy firm. She did her schooling from a convent school and went on pursuing finance as her career. She joined working as a finance director in one of the leading companies of Bhopal an year ago. And her interest was to associate with a non-governmental organisation lead her to us. She ensures that transparency in our workings is shown in whatever we do. She also joins us as volunteer to contribute us in different ways.
Neeti Purohit
Gender Expert – Consultant (Full-time)
Neeti has 17 years of experience in working in the development sector and has her expertise in gender and child rights. She has previously worked with many prestigious organizations like Milaan Foundation, Sathiya Welfare Society, Caritas India for PACS Program and Muskaan. She has led many important initiatives and programmes related to gender and child rights. She has also closely worked with various government departments for grassroot intervention. At Sky Social Neeti is working as gender expert consultant who is supporting and working with the organization through an intersectional lens in programme designing, implementation and evaluation. Her expertise and experiences add value to the organization.
Shivani Bajpai
WASH Expert-Consultant (Full-time)
Shivani has 20 years of experience in the Development sector on issues like, Health (MCH&A) and HIV/AIDS, Education, Gender, Harassment at Workplace, Water and sanitation in urban and rural setup. She has previously worked with Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and various other organizations. She has strong analytical, negotiation, facilitation, coordination and capacity building skills. At Sky Social she is working as an expert for all the WASH related projects where she is actively engaged in the processes of program planning, implementation and management. Her current knowledge of development issues, policies, procedures in national as well as international development funded projects are significantly important to the organization.
Sudha Tiwari
Project manager- skill development program
SUDHA TIWARI holds master's degree in social work ( MSW ) from Institute for Excellence in Higher Education ( IEHE ) Bhopal. Her experience includes managment, coordination ,capacity building and training. She has previously worked with Indian Health Action Trust ( IHAT ), Chingari Trust in Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiative and in various government programs with UNICEF Bhopal in Ansh Happiness. At Sky Social, she is working as a Project Coordinator, where she manages programs and initiatives at the grassroots along with implementation. Professionally, she is creative, and has excellent communication skills. She is a friendly person who enjoys travelling ,acting , singing.
